Summer sipping, but make it casual-chic.
Inspired by the ever-iconic @olivianoceda, this Raspberry Hugo Spritz is a fresh twist on the classic. Light, floral, and full of berry flavor, it’s the kind of cocktail you want to sip outside — bonus points if it’s served in a deli container with the sun hitting just right.
Made with mint, fresh raspberries, elderflower liqueur, lemon, prosecco, and a splash of sparkling water, it’s a super simple spritz that feels effortlessly cool.

Why This Recipe Works
- The Hugo Spritz is already iconic: mint + elderflower + bubbles = aperitivo gold.
- Fresh raspberries add color and tart sweetness.
- The lemon brings brightness and balance.
- Prosecco + sparkling water = just the right amount of fizz.
- Deli container? Optional but recommended. Casual elegance at its finest.
This cocktail feels fresh, playful, and totally unfussy. It’s what you serve when you’re hosting, but not hosting-hosting.

Raspberry Hugo Spritz
Ingredients
- 10 –12 fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 2 oz elderflower liqueur like St-Germain
- 1 lemon quartered (ends trimmed)
- 4 oz chilled prosecco
- 1 oz sparkling water
- Ice
- Deli container or stemless wine glass
Instructions
- To a deli container or cocktail glass, add mint, raspberries, and lemon quarters.
- Gently muddle to release the juices and oils — don’t overdo it!
- Add elderflower liqueur, fill with ice, and give it a light stir.
- Top with prosecco and sparkling water.
- Garnish with a mint sprig or a few whole raspberries on top.
Tips & Variations
- Want it sweeter? Add ½ oz simple syrup before muddling.
- Make it zero-proof: Use elderflower syrup (like Monin) and alcohol-free prosecco.
- Batch it: Muddle in a pitcher, then scale up the liquid ingredients and top each serving with bubbles.
