Pumpkin Spiced Carajillo

I’m calling this Pumpkin Spiced Carajillo a “Deadly Carajillo” because it’s just wickedly good enough for Halloween. Add a little alcoholic kick with some smoky Mezcal.
The good news, you donโt have to drink this within 90 seconds, just make sure to blow out the candle when youโre done to close the door to the other side
Hereโs how to make it
2 oz espresso
1.5 oz Licor 43
1/2 oz pumpkin syrup
3/4 oz Mezcal
Add ice and shake.
Pour into a rocks glass over a fresh large ice cube.
Top with freshly grated cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
How to Make Pumpkin Syrup
To a saucepan over medium heat, add 1 cup water + 1 cup brown sugar + 1/2 cup pumpkin puree + 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Strain into a jar and stir in a splash of vanilla extract. That’s it!
