I’m calling this Pumpkin Spiced Carajillo a “Deadly Carajillo” because it’s just wickedly good enough for Halloween. Add a little alcoholic kick with some smoky Mezcal.

The good news, you donโ€™t have to drink this within 90 seconds, just make sure to blow out the candle when youโ€™re done to close the door to the other side

Hereโ€™s how to make it

2 oz espresso
1.5 oz Licor 43
1/2 oz pumpkin syrup
3/4 oz Mezcal
Add ice and shake.
Pour into a rocks glass over a fresh large ice cube.
Top with freshly grated cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice

How to Make Pumpkin Syrup

To a saucepan over medium heat, add 1 cup water + 1 cup brown sugar + 1/2 cup pumpkin puree + 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Strain into a jar and stir in a splash of vanilla extract. That’s it!

Xoxo, cheers!
