A hot new margarita has entered the villa… and she’s bringing heat, sweetness, and peak stone fruit vibes. This Spicy Peach Margarita is the flirty, fiery twist your summer cocktail lineup’s been waiting for. Made with a peachy hot honey purée, tequila + mezcal, and a kick of lime — this one is sultry, sippable, and a total main character moment.
If you don’t want it spicy, just use regular honey instead of hot honey when making your hot honey peach syrup. You can also char the peaches in a cast iron before adding to your Spicy Peach Simple Syrup to make it a Smoked Peach Margarita. And the simplest variation yet is to make a Frozen Spicy Peach Margarita, see below.
Originally inspired by apricots (which mysteriously disappeared from the market), this drink proves that any stone fruit can be your muse. Peaches, nectarines, plums — use what’s ripe and roll with it.

Sweet, spicy, and smoky, this margarita hits all the right notes. The hot honey peach syrup gives it a rich, fruity base with just enough heat. Pairing blanco tequila with a splash of mezcal makes this drink perfectly balanced: refreshing, bold, and totally unforgettable.
The Spicy Peach Margarita begs to be served at golden hour, poolside, or anywhere the dress code is “just a little extra.”

Frozen Spicy Peach Margarita
Make it a Frozen Spicy Peach Margarita by blending all the ingredients with 1 cup of ice for a slushie version. The lazy girl hack for this recipe is to not even make the hot honey peach syrup/puree. Instead, just add plain simple syrup + hot honey + frozen peaches along with the tequila, mezcal, Cointreau, and lime in the blender all together and blend until smooth.

Smoked Peach Margarita
Make the Hot Honey Syrup recipe above without the peaches. Once you have your spicy simple syrup cooling, you’ll add your smoked peaches and then blend everything together until it’s a smooth puree. Here’s how to make the smoked peaches:
- Clean and wash peaches
- Cut them in half and remove the pits
- In a medium bowl, coat the peaches with honey and brown sugar
- On a cast iron over medium heat, melt the butter and place the peaches in the butter to char
- Once charred and soft, flip them and char their outer skin.
- Place on a tray and let them cool
- Once cooled, place in a blender with about 1/2 cup of your hot honey syrup and blend until smooth!
- Store in the fridge for about 2 weeks.
More Tips & Variations
- Too hot? Dial back the hot honey and sub in a little plain honey or agave.
- Too sweet? Use less syrup and more lime juice to brighten it up.
