This Frozen Strawberry Bee’s Knees is officially my favorite “goes down too easy” cocktail for spring. Light, fruity, a touch floral from the honey, and perfectly slushy for those warm-weather afternoons. It’s an Easter weekend dream—and dangerously delicious.

Traditionally, a Bee’s Knees is made with gin, lemon, and honey syrup. But we’re giving it the seasonal twist it deserves by blending in sweet frozen strawberries and fresh basil. Think of it as a spring smoothie… but boozy. And better.

Bonus: it’s super easy to make into a mocktail if you want a zero-proof version for brunch or baby showers.

Why You’ll Love This Cocktail

  • Frozen + refreshing – Like a cocktail slushie that’s actually classy
  • Seasonal ingredients – Strawberries, lemon, basil, and honey? Spring goals.
  • Easy to blend up – Just toss everything in and hit go!
  • Mocktail-friendly – Great with a non-alcoholic gin or even just filtered water

How to Make Honey Syrup

  • Combine equal parts honey and hot water
  • Stir until fully dissolved
  • Let cool and store in the fridge for up to a week
