If you’re looking for a Halloween cocktail to drink during your Addams Family viewing party this year, looking no further than Morticia’s Black Heart, a fig and rosemary bourbon sour! Crack open a bottle of your favorite bourbon and muddle it with amaro nonino, lemon juice, and cranberry cinnamon syrup (which you can totally make yourself!) Before shaking and straining, add a few pinches of edible black luster dust. Black is such a happy color, don’t you agree?

How to Make Cranberry Cinnamon Syrup
You can definitely buy a cranberry syrup or spiced cranberry syrup, but making your own at home is also really easy. And once you make a batch, you can use it other Halloween cocktails and sips for the holidays. All you do is put equal parts granulated sugar and cranberry juice in a saucepan over low heat and stir until the sugar dissolves. Then, add a few cinnamon sticks and let it simmer so the flavors meld. Once you like the flavor, take off the heat, let cool completely, and store in the refrigerator for up to 4 weeks.
