Watch Me Mix It
Make a Mistletoe Martini With Me
- In a cocktail shaker, add rye whiskey, Campari, pomegranate juice, lemon juice (fresh-squeezed!), and cinnamon syrup.
- Add ice and shake.
- Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with a rosemary sprig, kiss someone under the mistletoe, and enjoy!
Make Your Own Cinnamon Syrup
Making your own flavored syrup could not be easier. For this cinnamon syrup, just put 1 cup water + 1 cup sugar on medium heat along with 4-5 cinnamon sticks and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes to extract the flavor. Remove it from heat and let the cinnamon steep for 15–30 minutes depending on how strong you want it. Strain out the cinnamon sticks, let it cool, and store covered in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. That’s it!
Optional: Toast the cinnamon sticks in the dry pot before adding water and sugar to boost the warm, spicy aroma.
