Lavender simple syrup is one of the most versatile and easy homemade simple syrup recipes to master. And it’s good for way more than just cocktails. Drizzle it into lattes, coffee, tea, and definitely on a scoop of ice cream. Having a bottle of this on hand is a great way to have a great day.

Once you have the base simple syrup recipe, you can add all kinds of herbs and spices to go with your cocktails, coffee, and tea. Once you master the lavender simple syrup method, you can apply the exact same process to other woody herbs like thyme and rosemary.
