Bloody Aperol Spritz

A spooky twist on the classic Aperol Spritz!
Here’s how to make it at home:
3 oz prosecco
1.5 oz Aperol
1/2 oz blood orange cordial (I used Liber & Co)
1 oz sparkling water
Start by adding 1/4 cup of grenadine to a pot and place on medium heat.
You’ll want to cook this syrup down to create a thick, slow syrup. You’ll know it’s ready when it slowly slides from one end of the pot to the other.
Place on a glass dish and carefully rim your glass.
Place your glass straight up to allow the syrup to drip down leaving a bloody mess.
Now to a separate glass add in aperol and cordial and use a syringe to grab the liquid.
To a wine glass add in ice, prosecco, and sparkling water.
Carefully place your syringe into the glass.
Press the syringe when ready to drink!
Happy Halloween, cheers!
