Here’s Johnny’s Redrum Paloma, a must make for Paloma & The Shining lovers alike
Here’s how to make it at home:
In a cocktail shaker add
2 oz tequila or Mezcal
2 oz grapefruit juice
3/4 oz lime juice
1/2 oz hibiscus syrup*
1/2 oz pomegranate juice
Add ice and shake
Double strain into a highball or collins glass filled with ice
Top with approx. 3 oz sparkling water
Hibiscus syrup
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1/2 oz hibiscus (hibiscus flowers or from a hibiscus tea bag)
Place on medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
Once dissolved take off the heat and let infuse and cool completely. Once cool, strain and store in the fridge for up to four weeks!
