Smoked Brown Sugar Peach Margarita, um hi yes please 👋🏼

Rather than make a syrup, we’re truly making like a syrup purée and let me tell you it’s dangerous. It’s like ketchup, it can go on ANYTHING!

Here’s how to make it:
Smoked peaches:
Clean & wash peaches
Cut them in half and remove the pits
Coat with honey and brown sugar
On a cast iron, melt down butter and place the peaches to char
Once charred and soft, flip them and char their outer skin.
Place on a tray and let them cool
Once cooled, place in a blender and pour in about 1/2 cup of simple syrup and blend until smooth!
Store in the fridge for about 2 weeks.

For the margarita:
Add 1/2 (or 3/4 for a bit sweeter) oz smoked peach purée syrup
3/4 oz lime juice
1 oz peach purée
3/4 oz Orange liqueur
1.5 oz Mezcal, or tequila
Add ice and shake!
Double strain into a glass filled with ice
Garnish & enjoy!
