Learn why this drink needs to be among your “go to” cocktail recipes. Oh, and just because we love our listeners SO much, we present to you 3 drinks!

Bonus recipes:

Grapefruit Gelatin Wedge

  1. 3 Medium Grapefruit cut in half lengthwise and scoop out the pulp – make sure you get nice ones
Set the pulp aside and squeeze into about 1.5 cup juice – you can supplement with store bought juice

  2. Pour 1 cup vodka into bowl

  3. Sprinkle 2 packets of knox gelatin over Vodka

  4. Mix and let stand

  5. Bring 1.5 cup grapefruit juice to boil and add to gelatin mix

  6. Add .25 cup sugar and mix until dissolved

  7. Grab a muffin pan or ramekins, plastic cups, whatever – you’re going to place 6 Grapefruit halves so they sit like bowels on the tin/cups

  8. Pour your gelatin mix into the cups and carefully place in the fridge and let it set-up over the next few hours

  9. Take halves out and slice into wedges as needed

Homemade grapefruit soda

  • Using Y-peeler or veggie peeler – make sure it’s a goodone that doesn’t take a crap load of pith from the fruit…

    • Peel 2 grapefruits and 1 lemon

  • Juice the grapefuits and place juice in a separate container

  • Juice the lemon and place into a different container

In medium sauce pan over medium heat combine

  1. 9 T of sugar

  2. 1 C of water

  3. ⅔ C fresh grapefruit juice

  4. 1 T fresh lemon juice

  5. Peels from your lemon and grapefruits

Bring to simmer and stir until sugar dissolves

Remove from heat and let sit for 1 hour

Stain contents into a glass jar

Mix with soda water
