Join Jules in New York City

As a first-time visitor, I wasn’t sure what to expect… will I love it here or hate it here?

Well, the rumors are true… NYC is a magical place and I loved every second of it. And yes, I’m already planning my next trip back.

Keeping this travel blog short and giving you a list of places I visited, a little blurb about my experience, PLUS what you all came here for - the Google Maps of Join Jules in NYC

Spots I had some sips & recommend:

  • Dante’s: I preferred the West Village location, I think the location was more spacious and a beautiful bar perfect for IG… and most importantly, that’s the location with the Martini (Happy) Hour for $10 martini’s! (we literally went here twice during our stay)

  • Primo’s: This was the hotel bar inside the Frederick hotel and I couldn’t recommend it enough! The cocktails were delicious, some come in double sizes like the espresso martini. They also have a back “speakeasy” type room on the weekends that gets pretty crazy.

  • The Dead Rabbit: Lived up to the hype as I got so many recommendations. Would recommend this for its live Irish music and cocktails.

  • Little Ned: This was a newer London Based Members Club that had just opened recently and though the price tag of these cocktails may seem high in price, the presentation, ambiance, and taste make it worth it!

  • Katz’s Deli: Quite possibly the best Rueben sandwhich I’ve ever had in my life. It’s a bit overwhelming when you first visit but you walk in, take a ticket, go up to the counter, order the sandwich you want, sit down and eat it. Once you’re done, you pay before you leave. Now, the prices may be shocking, but once you see how much meat goes into these sammys you’ll understand why.

  • Rent city bikes: My favorite way to get around town, literally. Depending on the time of year, NYC has a wonderful bike path right by the water.

  • Comedy Cellar: Get tickets beforehand if you can, if not you can walk up and be put on the waitlist but don’t leave. Wait there until they call the waitlist because once they call your name if you’re not there it’s on to the next!

  • Favorite Area: West Village - had a local tell me, oh you love New York? Well, the West Village will do that to ya… I mean, she wasn’t wrong? Is that a bad thing? So many places to shop, walk around, oh, and grab a cocktail.

  • Please go see a Broadway play if you haven’t, I cried as it was my first ever… it was so fun.

  • Top of the Rock: A fun experience and 360 views of NYC, totally worth the trip.

  • Chelsea Market: After walking the High line, grab lunch here. So many spots to choose from.

  • Hotel: I stayed at the Frederick Hotel, which has a Metro station right in front so it was easy to get around, I loved the location, and it was such a wonderful stay. Oh! Did I mention, Primo’s bar is inside?
