Peanut Colava
Yep, you heard that right! Think I'm crazy? Don't worry once you taste this you'll change your mind. Surprisingly the aperol adds such a nice balance between the skrewball whiskey and rum. If you love peanut butter or just delicious flavored alcohols then you need to try skrewball. I personally have been a fan of skrewball as itโs native here to San Diego. But Iโve always had skrewball as either a creamy shot or in a dessert cocktail. So, I'm using what's in season and taking the summer heat to create this deliciously easy and FUN ๐๐๐๐ง๐ฎ๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ฏ๐.
Ingredients:
STRAWBERRY MIXTURE:
1.5oz Rum
3/4oz Aperol
3/4oz Strawberry Syrup
4-5 Strawberries
Pineapple Mixture:
6oz Pineapple Juice
1 Lime, juiced
3oz Coconut Milk
Ice
Garnish:
Nutmeg
Pineapple leaves
Method:
In a blender add alcohol and strawberries and blend until smooth.
Set aside.
In a cleaned blender add pineapple juice, lime juice, coconut milk and ice.
Blend until smooth.
In a glass add strawberry mixture to the bottom.
Add the pineapple mixture to the top and stir.
Top with nutmeg.
Garnish with pineapple leaves.
