Peanut Colava

Yep, you heard that right! Think I'm crazy? Don't worry once you taste this you'll change your mind. Surprisingly the aperol adds such a nice balance between the skrewball whiskey and rum. If you love peanut butter or just delicious flavored alcohols then you need to try skrewball. I personally have been a fan of skrewball as itโ€™s native here to San Diego. But Iโ€™ve always had skrewball as either a creamy shot or in a dessert cocktail. So, I'm using what's in season and taking the summer heat to create this deliciously easy and FUN ๐๐ž๐š๐ง๐ฎ๐ญ ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐š๐ฏ๐š.

Ingredients:

STRAWBERRY MIXTURE:

Pineapple Mixture:

  • 6oz Pineapple Juice

  • 1 Lime, juiced

  • 3oz Coconut Milk

  • Ice

Garnish:

  • Nutmeg

  • Pineapple leaves

Method:

  1. In a blender add alcohol and strawberries and blend until smooth.

  2. Set aside.

  3. In a cleaned blender add pineapple juice, lime juice, coconut milk and ice.

  4. Blend until smooth.

  5. In a glass add strawberry mixture to the bottom.

  6. Add the pineapple mixture to the top and stir.

  7. Top with nutmeg.

  8. Garnish with pineapple leaves.
