Four Easy Simple Syrup Recipes

Classic Simple Syrup:

  • 1 Cup Water

  • 1 Cup Sugar

  1. Add ingredients into a saucepan and bring to a low boil.

  2. Once at a low boil, bring. to a simmer and stir until the sugar has completely dissolved.

  3. Let cool. Place into the fridge to store. Can last 2-4 weeks.

Lemon Simple Syrup:

  • 1/4 Cup Water

  • 1/4 Cup Lemon Juice

  • 1/2 Cup Sugar

  • Zest of one lemon

  1. Add water, lemon juice and sugar into a saucepan and bring to a low boil.

  2. Once at a low boil, add lemon zest and bring to a simmer. Stir until the sugar has completely dissolved.

  3. Take off the heat and allow time to sit for at least 15 minutes.

  4. Strain into a glass with a lid. Place into the fridge to store. Can last 2-4 weeks.

Ginger Simple Syrup:

  • 1/2 Cup Water

  • 1/2 Cup Sugar

  • Fresh cut ginger, approx 1 - 1/2 cup

  1. Add water, ginger and sugar into a saucepan and bring to a low boil.

  2. Once at a low boil, bring down to a simmer.

  3. Stir until the sugar has completely dissolved.

  4. Take off the heat and allow time to sit for at least 15 minutes. Strain into a glass with a lid. Place into the fridge to store. Can last 2-4 weeks.

Blueberry Simple Syrup:

  • 1/2 Cup Water

  • 1/2 Cup Sugar

  • Fresh blueberries, approx 1 - 1/2 cup

  1. Add water, blueberries and sugar into a saucepan and bring to a low boil.

  2. Once at a low boil, bring down to a simmer and allow the sugar to dissolve and blueberries to pop.

  3. Once all the blueberries have popped, take off the heat and allow time to sit for at least 15 minutes.

  4. Strain into a glass with a lid and make sure to press on the blueberries to get all the juices. Place into the fridge to store. Can last 2-4 weeks.
