Bloody French 75

Tip for a bloody rim: Cook down a red syrup, this could be cranberry syrup, grenadine, or truly any red simple syrup you’ve made. Cook it down in a pot until it bubbles and becomes slow to move from one side of the pan to the other. From here, place on a running dish and let cool before dipping your glass. Place the glass upright and the syrup will slowly drip down (you can also use a bar spoon to drag the syrup down the glass. BEST OF ALL, it’s easy to clean just let it soak in water and it’ll dissolve away.

Here’s how to make this bloody 75

In a cocktail shaker add
1 oz gin
3/4 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz cranberry juice
1/2 oz blood orange syrup, @liberandco sells a great one!
Add ice and shake!
Strain into a coupe or champagne flute, with a bloody rim, and top with 3 oz of chilled champagne!

Happy Halloween, cheers!
