Brew espresso and allow it to cool slightly so it’s not piping hot.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Add the Guinness, vanilla vodka, coffee liqueur, maple syrup (or vanilla syrup), and espresso.
Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until well chilled and slightly frothy.
Double strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
Garnish with three espresso beans or chocolate shavings.
